Be Educated
Dr. Edwards has always been an avid proponent of education. During her residency training, she served in the capacity of an attending chief resident. Since entering into private practice, she has maintained her affiliation with the University of Kentucky Medical Center by retaining community faculty status. She has authored medical papers and is in the process of also authoring books on many of the topics included under the umbrella of anti-aging and regenerative medicine. Some of the peer reviewed medical reference materials which Dr. Edwards has used in preparing her seminars and papers have been made available for your review.
Dr. Edwards is also actively involved in both regional and national public speaking. She serves as a faculty member of the Age Management Medical Group and is on the speaker’s bureau for Bellevue Pharmacy, ZRT Laboratories, and Spectrum Pharmacies. She has consistently presented abstracts at the semi-annual meetings of the World Congress of Anti-Aging Medicine. Her authored papers presented at these meetings have been subsequently included in A4M textbooks which are distributed internationally.
Dr. Edwards is also a proponent of educating patients and lay people as well as health care professionals. She has presented seminars to the members of such prominent groups as Mary Kay Cosmetics, Professional Women’s Forum, and the National Association of Women’s Business Owners (Lexington Chapter). She also serves as the Health and Wellness columnist for Business Lexington which circulates to thousands of Kentucky businesses.
Beginning this year, Dr. Edwards will be offering a series of Telemedical Classes and webinars which will provide patients with the opportunity to actively engage in learning more information about many aspects of health, wellness, nutrition, and disease prevention. Patients will have the opportunity to communicate with Dr. Edwards directly during these seminars.
